Do You Like to Meet Soap Opera Stars?

If you are a soap opera fan, you probably already know about the cable channel for soap operas, Soapnet.

But did you know that the channel also has a talk show, Soap Talk, that often features soap opera stars?

If you are going to be in the Hollywood, California area, you should see if you can obtain free tickets. The studio audience has only 80 people and tapings are usually done on Fridays and Saturdays. To sign up, go to jampackedtvshows.com and click on Soap Talk and the date you want to attend. If you arrive at least a half hour early, you can probably sit in the front row! Parking is free at the Soapnet studio.

ABC is also touring a number of its soap opera stars over the next few weeks. My daughter attended the free event in New York last month, and has been seen in the trailers from the event on ABC for the last two weeks. She's thrilled! Although it looks like a madhouse on television, there were only 400 people at the taping.

This weekend features the annual Days of Our Lives fan events in the Studio City, California area. You have a chance to spend hours up close with your favorite stars from the series. It's too late to get tickets for this year (most events are $15-$65), but remember this for next year. It usually comes during May and June.
