Take the Course in Creating 2,000 Percent Solutions
Good morning, Live Better than a Billionaire-a-Holics!
Are you feeling motivated this morning? I certainly hope so. I know that I am!
Many people ask me how they can afford the time and money to take a course in creating 2,000 percent solutions.
Let me suggest two 2,000 percent solutions to that challenge:
1. Ask your employer to pay for the course in exchange for developing a 2,000 percent solution on a mutually acceptable subject related to your own work.
2. Ask your employer to let you use normal working hours for time to take the course and apply the results.
These 2,000 percent solutions have a great advantage for you: Your employer will more rapidly recognize your skill in creating 2,000 percent solutions . . . which should lead to better assignments and promotions.
Before agreeing to such an idea, most employers want more information. To make that easier, I've included below the course instructions and some comments made by those who have taken the course. I can also send you copies of papers that others have written for this course to show you what's possible.

They can read all but two chapters of The 2,000 Percent Solution by going to www.2000percentsolution.com and clicking on the "excerpts" button on the left hand column. That will take them to the table of contents and start with the beginning material.
They can also order an inexpensive hard copy or an e-book download from Amazon.com.
As you work on the course, keep a journal of how you spend your time each day and how much time you spend. You should submit the journal to me along with your paper. That will give me a flavor of any problems you have had.
Your paper should have two parts. In the first part, you should identify some stalls that have been or are a problem now for an organization you know well or for you personally. Next, identify how those stalls were overcome or could be overcome. This material is covered in the first part of The 2,000 Percent Solution.
If you pick some issue that's strategic to you or an organization, you will get more benefit than if you pick some trivial area.
Don't worry about page limits. Most people need to write more words than they expect. I'm happy to review longer papers.
I will also be glad to review drafts of your paper and give you suggestions as you go.
When you are satisfied with the paper, send it to me for final comments and review.
