Join a Great Party with Leading Celebrities for a Star-Studded Blast

Are you feeling motivated this morning? I certainly hope so. I know that I am!

Are you excited by the chance to see celebrities?

Do you love a party atmosphere?

Do you enjoy non-stop action?

If so, this blog post is for you.

Most billionaires are part of the sedate set. They show up for charity events in their best bib and tucker . . . but mostly to mix with the rich and powerful, rather than the young and entertaining. Occasionally, a billionaire will hire celebrity entertainers for a private event.

<>But the thought of mixing it up on the dance floor with those who grace E! most nights doesn't appeal to your average billionaire.

When you party with leading celebrities, you've moved beyond billionaires!

For most people, though, attending a great party with a celebrity seems as remote as becoming a billionaire.

The reality is different.

While most people cannot become billionaires, those same people can party with leading celebrities if they want.

Let's look at how.

Although some celebrities are reclusive, as many billionaires are, many celebrities enjoy a good party as much as the next person.

Like most activities, there's a right way and a wrong way. Let's look at what works.

1. Arrange to be invited by a celebrity to the party.

Few hosts will turn down a request from a celebrity to bring along a friend or guest. You can be that friend or guest.

Message boards provide a powerful means of access these days. Many younger celebrities will visit their boards or have someone highlight the most interesting posts.

If you are of the same sex as the celebrity, they are likely to find it relatively unthreatening to start a correspondence with you.

Show a genuine interest in them and their family, and you're halfway home. If you are kind and thoughtful to those who assist the celebrity, you will probably reach home.

If you share a passion for a certain kind of party, share how much you would enjoy accompanying them to experience such an event. Chances are that you may receive an invitation if you let the celebrity know when you will be in the area.

Please note that this celebrity doesn't have to be in the entertainment business. I've met lots of interesting celebrities at parties after being invited by artist friends who are well known in their fields.

2. Hang out where the celebrities party.

If you follow the gossip, you know that there are certain clubs where celebrities are more likely to be sighted.

If you have an unlimited budget, you can simply hang out in those places all the time.

A better way is to make friends with someone who works in each venue and ask them to call you when someone you are interested in stops by. If you give your new friend an occasional gift, you'll probably keep getting those phone calls.

3. Make friends with concert promoters and venue owners.

It's not unusual for there to be post-concert parties if the celebrities don't have to be in another city 400 miles away the next day.

The concert promoters and venue owners will probably host some of those parties. You can be sure that celebrities including those who performed in the concert will attend. You can be there too!

For many years, I enjoyed this delightful access through a friend who had been the first consulting client for my firm. I had advised him on his move into entertainment, and he remembered me with free concert tickets and wonderful parties. It was great fun!

4. Go to awards events.

Every field has some sort of annual awards. In almost every case, you can buy tickets to these events because they raise money for charity. Afterwards, there will be lots of great parties.

Be friendly and interesting to the people you meet there, and you'll probably be invited to some parties.

An even better approach is to check out to see if any of your friends or relatives is connected to those who run businesses in that same celebrity industry. You can then extend your connection to make more connections.

For example, I have a friend who owns part of a major league baseball team. Through him, I can access baseball events for owners. While at those events, I can meet other people who are connected to the sports heroes involved.

5. Attend your favorite celebrity's charity fund-raisers.

Although most celebrities raise money mostly for the publicity, they usually grow to have a strong feeling for their cause. These celebrities will make themselves unusually accessible at such events, and parties are often involved.

If you volunteer your time to help with the event, you can be sure that you'll enjoy extra celebrity exposure . . . usually at a party!

6. Plan your vacation to be in celebrity-filled locales.

Let's face it. If you live in a remote area in a small state, there may not be many celebrities who come through.

Wander around in Beverly Hills, and you will fall over celebrities on Rodeo Drive. Ski in Aspen and you'll have the same experience.

Plan ahead so that you have access to parties with celebrities. A good way to do this is to have business meetings with prominent local people. They will usually know some of the celebrities socially and can give you tips on how to swing into the right party circuit. Celebrity authors are often a good point of contact because they often host such parties. If these authors are celebrities, you can use yesterday's post to help you access them.

7. Be on your best behavior.

We've all seen obnoxious, out-of-control fans. You won't party for long with celebrities if you misbehave.

What are you waiting for? Start organizing and asking!

Can any billionaire do better? I don't think so!
