Good morning, Live Better than a Billionaire-a-Holics!
Are you feeling motivated this morning? I certainly hope so. I know that I am!
One of the nice surprises I've found on the Internet is the increasing frequency of high quality, free tele-seminars. If you have yet to experience one of these, I encourage you to give this learning method a try.
Most such tele-seminars are designed to establish the credibility of an interviewer, intrigue you in to signing up for a fee-based tele-seminar, or to sell you some good or service. But that's okay. Because otherwise, none of these tele-seminars would be offered for free.
I have yet to hear a bad tele-seminar where someone is interviewing an expert. So you could start with those.
The best tele-seminar leader I've listened to is Alex Mandossian, who offers courses in how to give tele-seminars. I recently enrolled in his course and have found it to be excellent so far.
If you subscribe to e-letters, you should find yourself receiving invitations to experience these sessions.
Here are some of the sources of tele-seminars I've enjoyed:
Steve Harrison interviews many celebrity authors in his role as a pr guru. You can sign up for his letter at http://www.rtir.com/.
Rick Frishman does the same but on the subject of promoting books. His Web site is http://www.plannedtvarts.com/pta/teleseminar.html/.
You can read about Alex Mandossian's tele-seminar advice at http://www.alexmandossian.com/.
Free introductory tele-seminars are sometimes offered by Trump University. Here is their Web site: http://www.trumpuniversity.com/.
If you find good, free tele-seminars, please add references to them in comments to this post. I'd like to listen to them!
Here's final tip: If you are going to listen to a lot of these, get a fixed price monthly long-distance calling plan. Some calls go on for hours and the "free" aspect isn't as free as it first seems.
Could a billionaire do better? I sincerely doubt it.
Obviously, a billionaire can listen in on these calls the same as you can. The courses are aimed at the average person so the billionaire may feel like the advice isn't going to fit the scale of their interests very well. Naturally, the billionaire could hire these people or ask them to do free tele-seminars. I've found that listening to the questions that other people raise is one of the primary values of these learning methods. In response to the questions, the speaker then explains the ideas in more dimensions and in more practical terms. So a billionaire would also have to hire a lot of people to ask those questions to get the most value.

N.B. As you can tell, I'm experimenting with color. Let me know what you like and what I should change about my use of color.
Please let me know what else you would like to learn, and I'll do my best to help in future blog entries.
Here are some upcoming subjects:
Tomorrow, you and I will look at how asking the right questions can open up the path to living your dreams.
Wednesday, we will explore ways to make wonderful, last minute holiday gifts inexpensively that will arrive before December 25. This is the procrastinator's special.
On Thursday, let's look at mansions you can visit for Christmas activities in France.
Friday, we'll look at the joys of Christmas caroling.
On Saturday, let's explore how to prepare for the football playoffs for your best experiences ever.
Sunday, I'll examine how to create spiritual new year's resolutions.
At that point, I will be taking a few days off from posting. I will publish a new schedule as soon as I have decided how much time I will have to post in 2006. In the meantime, I encourage you to read old posts that you may not yet have seen.
If you are new to this blog, be sure to check out the updated table of contents entry that I posted on December 14. The table of contents will help you find earlier entries that may be of interest. I'll update this table of contents every week or so for your convenience.
